- manufactured of spongy fabric with terry
- cloth inside. The thermoplastic material
- which provides rigid support in the abdominal
- and dorsal parts of the corset. Support in the
- sternum can be lengthened and shortened
- as desired to fit a patient’s body. Also, it
- restricts flexion of the body movements.
- It has aluminum at the back and 2 other
- hatchways so it closes twice. Keep abdominal
- pressure in a stable for better tissue healing
- after injuries around the whole back. Constrain
- the movement from lower to the upper back for
- spinal immobilization.
